Fall is upon us and it's time to get ready for fun activities on Halloween. This is one holiday during the year that most teenagers and children look forward to celebrating. Their imaginations run wild and they get to pick the coolest costumes, sporting them at school and on the big night. It's a great time to create memories and have a great time with your family.

There are many activities to do during this fun season besides Halloween thrills & chills, including:

    1. Have a scary movie marathon. October is a month about celebrating the scariest movies. You can blast to the past and watch creepy films from the past like “The Exorcist,” or fast forward to the future and watch “The Chainsaw Massacre.” Either way, it will be a fun night of creepy movies to get your skin crawling.

    2. Did you know that many cities will have animal parades? These parades are where proud pet owners can strut their dogs’ stuff and show off their cool Halloween costumes. It's a great place to see a variety of pets and get a good laugh and smile. Halloween doesn't have to be creepy!

    3. Take a Halloween cooking class. Fall is the perfect time of year for the best baked goods - and everybody loves pumpkin. Take the next cooking class in your city, and learn to bake the best pumpkin cookies, breads, and other fun recipes. You don't have to pumpkin up everything, but it's totally Halloween recommended.

    4. A lot of cities will have fun concerts that celebrate the holiday. Raves are the coolest because you can attend the concert, dress up for Halloween, and listen to loud music while networking with some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

    5. Be like the crowd and go to a haunted house. They are fun, and it's great to see the kids get worked up, as long as they can handle it.

    6. Carve a pumpkin with your family. Everybody loves getting creative, and carving pumpkins can be a blast for everyone. Then you can take a picture and keep the memories forever.

    7. Host a costume party. It's the perfect time of year to host a costume party, play games, and enjoy creating memories with all of your friends. Hold a contest for best couples Halloween costume and more! Also, don’t forget to break out the Halloween party games!

    8. You can’t miss this one: go trick-or-treating. Dress up for Halloween, and go out with the family and get some candy. It's a great way to have some Halloween fun, see other costumes, and meet the neighbors.

    9. Decorate the house with the children. Halloween decorations are so much fun to make, and children have a blast making them!

    10. Talk to the dead, or at least you can try. Ouija boards are sold at every Toys R Us location and can be found in department stores, as well. How brave are you and your friends this Halloween?

Halloween is one of the most fun Holidays during the year, and it's a great time to dress up, have Halloween parties, go to a haunted house, or just learn to cook something new. October  has to be one of the best months during the year—and if you love nature, you can even drive around your town or into the mountains and see the leaves change colors. It's one relaxing activity that the whole family can enjoy this season, and then you can go home and have a warm cup of hot chocolate and watch a movie.
